
Gutter Installer Job Summary
Thoroughbred Construction Group is looking for a Gutter Lead Installer and a Gutter Installer to help our clients protect their property and landscaping from rain damage.
In this role, the primary responsibility is to properly construct and install gutter systems with quality being a #1 priority. You must understand how to install gutters on different types of structures and substrates without causing damage and leaks.
You may install gutters on new buildings or remodeling projects. You must also inspect your work to ensure it meets building codes. While our ideal candidate already has some gutter installation experience, we are willing to let you train under one of our veteran installers. Carpentry, sheet metal work or previous gutter installation experience is a plus.
Gutter Installer Duties and Responsibilities
- Install gutter systems on various properties and structures
- Inspect sites for damage and hazards
- Safely inspect, setup and operate the use of ladders
- Safely use equipment and tools to attach gutters
- Perform maintenance and repairs on gutters
Gutter Installer Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Construction experience (preferred)
- Gutter installation (preferred)
- Physical stamina to work outdoors all seasons
- Safely operate ladders and work at heights on all types of structures
- Skills with power and hand tools
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently daily and perform own quality control
- Able to safely drive a pickup truck and trailer with gutter machine
